Heavily inspired by the original "Fighting Withdrawal" campaign included with Fleet Defender by Microprose, a collection of about 20 F-14A Tomcat missions. Set on the Kola peninsula, it's 1986 and World War Three has just started. The USS Nimitz and her escorts find themselves caught way up north and all alone as Soviet forces storm down Norway. Flying with VF-84, you'll find yourself at the center of the action and taking on Soviet fighters, bombers, and interceptors.
This mission pack includes a further 10 "bonus" missions inspired by the other AI aircraft found in the original Fleet Defender campaign.
You'll have the chance to take to the skies in a Norwegian F-5, Swedish AJ-37, or Finnish MiG-21Bis in a few missions.
This is an update to the prior releases, featuring new aircraft, new missions, and some bug fixes.
